My COURT Date for SPEEDING

So it finally happend... I recieved my FIRST EVER speeding ticket back in October and I had to go to court for it on November 5th. I was going 74 in a 55 (mph). I was taking the boys to school and we were running behind, obviously after I got pulled over we were even more behind than before.
I was SO nervous to go to court though... I thought a judge was going to yell at me, make me pay a fine, maybe I would get my license taken away since I was going more than 15 over, or they may just hall me to jail right then and there. Who knew?!?!?!?
Well I made sure I got up early and made myself look "purdy" with a hint of pathetic for the judge. Making sure it was obvious that I was pregnant (gotta get those sympathy points).
Before I even got into the court house I almost saw a lawyer get hit by a car... he just ran across the street with out looking. The car had to SLAM on its breaks and the wierd thing is the lawyer did not blink an eye. Is this normal behavior for him? Well after screaming at the top of my lungs, "no, no no!" He did not get hit, but I was pretty shaken up! Wonderful way to enter a courthouse full of Police Officers. I was shaking and everything.
At last I made it to the court room. I was case #9. And all that happend.... The DA asked if I wanted to do driving school for 4 hours the next Monday and just pay $211.00 for the school and no fine since it was my first ticket. WELL YES I DO MR. DA! *On a side note, the DA for NC looks like Jared from the Subway commercials so I was craving Subway the whole time!* So now I only have to go to this class. But still, I think I will be driving the speed limit from now on. I will have wasted about 7 hours from speeding and I think my lesson has been learned. SPEED LIMIT now I know this means you can not go faster than the LIMIT!
