Looking Back It Is Funny Now

On the 8th of February I went down to the DMV in Jacksonville, NC to get a new Drivers License. I have been married for two years and my license still has the last name of Fox on it, so I decided it is high time to get that changed. WELL.... I went down to the DMV and it was a three hour wait!!! Luckly I had brought hidden picture books for Britton to do and Edward was a sleepy boy. FINALLY it was my turn and I go to station #2 to get my license. As I am at the station filling out what I need to the lady tells me I can go to computer "A" and take my driving test. WHAT? I asked her what driving test she was talking about and she told me in a carcastic voice, "the one the lady at the front counter gave you the pamphlet to study for." UM, no one gave me a pamphlet! So she hands me a pamphlet and tells me to go to the computer and take the test, so I assumed that the test was open book (open pamphlet) and started the test while I looked through the pamphlet. OH GOODNESS! The next think I know I have a 70 year old, male security guard yelling at me about how this is not an open book test and that I should know better than to "cheat" on a driving test. He confinscated the pamphlet and asked me with a furl of his brow if he needed to restart my test because I was cheating (keep in mind this was for all to hear in the DMV... and it was packed). I wanted to tell him he should just spank me instead but I was afraid I would be arrested or something. So I am "allowed" to finish the test (with the guard watching me to make sure I don't try to cheat)and it is all questions that have to do with NC driving laws like how fast is the normal speed inside most NC cities? How the crap should I know? So ends up I flunk the test!!! AHHHH! So I am directed to a chair where I need to wait until they can meet with me. Well there I am totally embarresed with Britton who is starting to act up (rightfully so after being there at this point for 3.5 hours) and Edward who just woke up from a long nap and is really fussy because he is hungry. So I tell Britton that we need to go to the bathroom. The bathroom was right by the back door, I told Britton loud enough so that people would hear where we were going and we headed in the direction of the bathroom, THEN.... We snuck out the back door and made a break for our car. Britton was asking me as we were running to the car why we were not going to the bathroom (he was totally confused). I never looked back!
So there it is, I had to sneak out of the DMV Office. Now I am scared that they are out to get me and I better not get pulled over because I am scared they will have written down that I failed the Driving test and they will haul my butt to jail. I am sure they can't but I am still freaked out. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Sometimes... I TELL YA!

Prayer

Benson is the man of the house while Dan is away and part of being the man of the house is calling on someone to say the prayer at meal time. Well Benson loves to call on someone to say the prayer and the other day he called on Baby Edward. I told Benson that Edward could not pray because he was a baby to which Benson replied that we can all pray because Jesus and Heavenly Father hear us all. It was SO SO SO CUTE! Benson would say a little bit of the prayer for Edward and then wait a few seconds so Edward could "repeat" what he had said (obviously there was only cooing, but Benson took it as Edward repeating his prayer). After the prayer Benson complimented Edward on what a sweet prayer he gave!
It is never too young to give thanks, good thing Benson taught me a lesson on that!

HELLO CHUNKO!

Edward went in to get his two month shots this past Tuesday (even though he will be three months old on the 9th... yah, a little behind). Anyways the child weights 13.5 pounds... HE IS HUGE! I love it though, he is a chunk o monk and I would not have it any other way. The doctor said he was one of the chubbiest babies she has ever seen and she thought he was darling!
I can not believe he is almost three months old. He is such a cutie!!! He has the most demanding personality and grunts at me all the time. He also gets really excited and moves his arms 100 mph when he gets super excited. If he does not like what he is seeing he'll raise his left eyebrow and give you his look of, "seriously?" He HATES and I do mean HATES his tummy time. He will cry the whole time I put him on his tummy and then when I pick him up he grunts at me for a good 60 seconds to make sure I get the point that he is upset with me.
The boys are still such good big brothers to him. There is constant love from them to him. They LOVE to take a bath with him and love to help wash him. They laugh that every time water goes on his tummy Edward goes potty and we have to start the bath over. The boys are really three peas in a pod. I LOVE MY BOYS!

Edwards rolls, so much to love:
