ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!

OH MY GOODNESS! I had an esperience this morning... The boys lock is on the outside of their bedroom door and after this morning I think we will be putting it back on the inside.

I was getting the boys dressed and Benson had decided to shut the door. When I went to open the door I realized we were LOCKED IN. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Of course I started searching for something to open the door with, anything, BUT nothing worked. I decided I better do something more drastic when Benson looked at me and said, "Mom you are FREAKING ME OUT!" Where did he learn that from? So I opened their window, knocked out the screen and crawled through. It was the closest thing to a Prison escape I may ever experience.

I ran across the street to my neighbors, THANK GOODNESS THEY WERE AWAKE, and asked them if they had anything to open the door. Obviously at this point I was locked out of my house. So at six in the morning I had two grown men crawling in and out of my boys bedroom window. Oh yes! I am sure the neighborhood will be talking!

Well we left 20 min later than usual, but I somehow managed to get to work on time! Sometimes I can drive like the best Crazy person I know!

So much for a peaceful Thursday morning!!!!!!!

Real Rough Housing

As you can tell by the pictures the boys have really put new meaning into the word ROUGH HOUSING!

This is me getting them ready for bed. Wounds cleaned and wrapped:

Injuries for Britton include:

Split Chin from falling on the Ottoman

3 inch long burn from burning his knee on my Hair Straightener

A swollen tongue from hitting his head on Benson's

Injuries for Benson Include:

Gash in chin from falling on the edge of the Window

Purple toe from kicking Britton

Swollen left eye from hitting the bar of the trampoline

Needless to say everywhere I take them I get the "Funny Looks" of people wondering what exactly is going on in our little family. I think even if I straight jacketed these boys and put them in a padded room they still would have bruises, cuts, swollen eyes and anything else that goes along those lines.... THEY ARE JUST THAT GOOD!

4TH OF JULY, SOOOOOOOOOO FUN

The boys and I had a total blast this year! It started with us rising early to go eat a huge Holiday Breakfast with the Mayor of Gilbert! We went to the Power Ranch, Breakfast for the 4Th. It reminded me of Weiser's Mormon Church 4Th breakfast. I painted the boys faces and dressed them for the occasion and as soon as we got there I somehow managed to start a line for painting all the other kids faces who came to breakfast. We got to talk to the fireman and police man (none of which were single, dang it - haha)! After breakfast they gave all the kids bread to go feed the duckies, which was the highlight of Benson's day. Then they got to play in the park and be part of a "KID" parade, which Fox 10 news taped and aired today! YEAH!

In the afternoon we partied PEARCE style at Cody's and Kris's. We swam, ate, played and enjoyed the day to it's fullest! I don't know what it is when our family gets together, but there is never a dull moment and I swear I get in a full body work out from all of the laughing. I do have to brag that Cody got us all to measure our Body fat, and I have been working so hard with my eating and exercise that I measured in at a 16.3%. OK that is the only thing I have been able to brag on for a while, LET ME HAVE MY GLORY, after all it is the 4Th of July! Benson finally got in the water after two hours of screaming, I guess I could brag about that if his screams were not still echoing in my ears.

To end the Spectacular day we went to Fireworks at the new soccer fields on German and Greenfield. BEAUTIFUL! Benson was mesmerized and kept ewing and awing over the colors, Britton was so happy about the fireworks as he jumped from his stroller to my arms as soon as the loud popping noises started. We also got to see Jordan Sparks sing the National Anthem, which even though I am not a big American Idol fan, I still thought that was pretty neat. The boys finally fell asleep on the way home (10:30) and I am left with nothing but pure thanks for AMERICA! I love the 4Th, it is my favorite holiday of them all. An all day celebration!!!
