Snow on the COAST

This post is a bit late, but we had snow in January and it was SO MUCH FUN to play in. It is probably only the 2ND time the boys have seen snow and they LOVED IT! They made snow angels, had snow ball fights and made a snow kid (not big enough to be a snow man). They laughed the whole time while playing in it. It lasted two days and for two days the boys were in and out all day long: drinking hot chocolate and then back to the snow, taking a hot bath and then back to the snow, putting their wet coats and gloves in the dryer and then back out to the snow! I am so happy we had some white here! I guess it is was the first time it snowed on the NC coast (at least where we are) in almost 9 years! WOW!

The boys were tracking in so much snow it created a water slide (notice Britton at the bottome of the pic).


Britton could have stayed in the snow for DAYS on end!


Benson has requested Frosty the Snowman for his nightly song ever since the snow fall!

Court an Custody Update

We went to court on Friday. It was the hearing to see if Cheryl, Dan's ex wife, would be able to move to Japan. The court decided that since it is in the best interest of her career they would let her go. We were amazed by the outcome, but still know there is a purpose that we may not fully understand. We can appeal the decision, but before we do that Dan is going to see if he can get orders to Japan as well! If that happens we should be moving there with in the next 6 months. Also if we go there instead of appealing the decision we will go right to the custody hearing of Taylor and Ava (Dan's twins). For us it will be a win win situation if we get to go to Japan because no matter what Dan will still get so see them every month PLUS holidays. So we are still on this journey.... PLEASE STILL KEEP US IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!

WE MADE IT!

Today is Dan and my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! So here is what we looked like a year ago.... (and sorry they all have writing on them because I can not find my wedding CD)
