Yesterday was Dan's 31st Birthday, so I thought it would be a good time for an update. We are down to 5 weeks 5 days, and time is still flying! He is so excited to come home and we are so excited to have him home.Right now Dan has Oliver North at his base (retired U.S. Marine Col) along with a camera crew from Fox News and some time in either December or January they're going to be airing a show on Special Forces. there's also a possibility that Dan might be in a few shots, so we think that is pretty neat.The missions are (possibly) winding down with the deployment coming to an end. The last mission they were on Dan was up for 27 hours straight. So it is good to know those may be coming to an end.Here are some pics of him: one is with Oliver North, one is with him and a little boy who has 6 fingers on each hand, and the other is with a little girl who is about 2 years old. He will be shaving the beard before he comes home
