This has been, without a doubt, the busiest fall EVER! Between the boys soccer and school, Danie's school and work and me trying to get back into school, Edward's "baby stage" and my 4Th pregnancy we have just been non stop GO GO GO! But we love it and would not have it any other way!
BOYS STARTING SCHOOL
In August the boys started school again! Benson is now in 1st grade and Britton is in Kindergarten! Benson is thriving in 1st grade and LOVES it. He is head of his class and math and is currently second in his class for reading. He wants to be on the chess team in the spring, but I need to make sure 1st graders can be on it. I can't believe how wise he is, sometimes he just blows me away with his knowledge. Britton is in Kindergarten and has TAKEN OFF with his learning. He has THRIVED in school and loves it. Every day though he tells me "Mom, school takes too long!" It cracks me up. He can't wait to get home everyday and show me his work and tell me what he did. He was just accepted into the speech therapy which is a HUGE blessing for us. Poor Britton just has some speech problems that he really needs help with. He loves the program though and we are already seeing a difference. We had to go through four months of interviews and observations for him to finally get in and I am so glad we stuck with it and he is now getting the help he needs. Because he is in Kindergarten they don't rate where he stands in the class but he is a SMARTY! Loves to try to read new words and tell me what every word starts with (the sound and letter). So proud of both the boys so far this year and just love that they are really blooming and soaking up so much knowledge!

EDWARD GROWING UP!
Little Man, as we call him, is rocking and rolling! He just BARELY started walking at 13 and a half months... he took his sweet time with that. His personality is like nothing I have ever witnessed before. He IS a cuddle bug and super sweet but at the same time, the boy has ATTITUDE! Don't tell him what to do... He is starting to form words so he can tell you what to do! HA HA! He loves his "Bro-Bros," Benson and Britton, and they boys treat him just like he was 7 or 6 years old. I am telling you, Edward will be a tough one because of them. He LOVES to do everything the boys do from running around, to playing games, to playing the wii! He thinks he has it all down. We just barely got him off of his bottles and on sippie cups and it was actually a VERY smooth transaction. He is cutting teeth again, he already has seven, and it seems like the ones he is cutting now are ready to give him a run for his baby money. He gets lighter and lighter every day and I am starting to see some Pearce traits in him. Everyone still tells me they can see Benson in him so much. I think he looks like both Benson and his daddy, even though he does have my ears, good thing, because I have dang cute ears. I am positive Edward knows I have a baby in my belly because he will come lay his head down on my belly and laugh whenever the baby kicks him. My belly is the ONLY thing he is soft with... other than that he is rough and tough with everything! OH I LOVE MY LITTLE MAN!
OUR NEW HOOD!!!
We have been so blessed to have moved in to the neighborhood we moved into! I love our house, but even more I love our neighbors. It has been so great having kids for the boys to play with, and having such fun friends all around us. We can always count on celebrating an event or holiday together, getting together for a game night, or just dropping by each other's place to enjoy each other's company! Here are a few pics of all of our fun times, "IN THE HOOD!"
SOCCER SEASON FOR THE BOYS!!!
The boys both played soccer this fall and it was so cute to watch. Benson was in a new league and really had to pull his weight. He was the smallest on his team but that sure did not stop him for giving it his all. He ended up being on the Champion team and really enjoyed it. He scored three goals and had plenty of saves for his team while he played the "sweeper" position. Even though he enjoyed it I don't think he is sold on staying in soccer. He goes back and forth on the idea of playing again so we'll just have to wait it out and see.
Britton did GREAT for his first season. He was on a non competitive team and loved kicking the ball. I was not impressed with the coach though and because his coach was "not the best" I don't think Britton has a lot of desire to really play again. He liked practices some day and then others he would beg not to go, so sad. We missed plenty of games and practices because of it, but I must admit when he got out there he was on FIRE!
Both the boys want to do track, which I don't think they even offer till 3rd grade and then they both talk about wrestling too! AWESOME! I would love that. They also want to do an Academic activity, like I said before Benson wants to be on the Chess team and Britton has started talking about the Scrabble team. I also want to put the boys in Piano lessons in 2011 (Steve just bought them a piano for Christmas). We have decided though that every year they can do a musical instrument, an Academic Activity (like the chess team or scrabble team) and one sport. Even that is going to keep us on our toes all year long!

THE TWINS ARE HERE
Daniel picked the twins up on November 21st in Okinawa, Japan and they will be with us until January 29th.... 10 weeks! We are doing our five weeks for 2010 and five weeks for 2011 back to back. Which works out quite well. Daniel will still get to see them in the Summer and Fall but he will be traveling to Japan for a week at a time to do those visits. So far it has been a pretty smooth visit, I won't lie though... sometimes with five kids I want to pull out my hair. You can tell our parenting methods are WAY different than what they are use to so we are really trying to be patient and get them on a schedule, get them to eat well, and make sure they understand what being 4 and independant mean. The hardest thing SO FAR has been their eating habbits. AHHHHHHHHHHH! We are NOT picky eaters here and they are allowed to be as picky as they want at home. We have finally gone to taking all snacks away for the day and making them eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and then if they eat all of their healthy food they are allowed to have dessert at the end of the day. It has actually worked REALLY well and their eating habits have changed so much for the better. I hope they carry this with them when they return home, but we'll see. They both are just BEAUTIFUL children! Taylor is going to be so handsome. He has the most unique voice. When he speaks he still sounds like a toddler, but obviously the way he talks (his pronunciation) is that of a four year old. He is SUPER smart and very factual. He has LOVED that I try to make him independant and will now tell me on a daily basis he wants to do things for himself so he can be indepndant. Today he told me he wanted to make his own lunch, ha ha ha! It was super cute, I had to let him know he can still depend on me for that! Ava is just BEAUTIFUL. I am trying to grow her bangs out while she is here, I love her hair off of her face. She is FOR SURE the "street smarts" twin and the dominant twin. She says jump and Taylor asks how high. She is a Daddy's Girl ALL THE WAY, and in her eyes her daddy can do NO WRONG. So whenever I give Daniel a look of ANY KIND she jumps on his side and tells me her daddy is perfect. HA HA! Pretty funny! They have really responded to the "stars and smiley faces" way of discipline and are happy they don't get spanks at Daddy's house. They love to play with Benson and Britton and are even starting to play with Edward, which is good because when they first came they were SO MEAN to Edward. I havn't heard them say they miss their mom at all, which makes me sad and happy at the same time, they do talk A LOT about the baby in my tummy and Ava wants to be in the delivery room when I give birth... so sweet. We are taking the whole family to Disney World in January and they think that is the BEST thing in the world!

THE PREGNANCY - THE FOURTH AND LAST ONE!
We did find out in November we are having a girl... it took me a long time to get use to the idea of a girl... I won't lie! But now that I have had time to let it settle and I finally got my way on naming her, I am finding myself more and more excited :). Now of course, I have always been excited, but you HAVE TO UNDERSTAND, after three boys... the concept of a girl is so foreign that it is not the easiest thing to come to terms with. Her name will be Eden Lily King! I LOVE IT! Eden is after my sister Buffy, her name being Buffy Eden. Buffy has a little girl named after me, Breck, due to my name being Lacy Breck and I am super excited to have a little girl named after her! This pregnancy has been hard, but I just keep thinking "three more months, three more months" then I never have to do this again! YEAH! FOUR NO MORE!
ODDS AND ENDS TO WRAP UP THE YEAR
All in All we have been very blessed this year. Daniel came home safely from his fourth tour over seas, we got preggers again, Daniel got promoted, the boys are exceling in their studies, I have had the opportunity to further my education, we have the twins with us for a long time, we were able to see every memeber of both sides of our family this year, and the list goes on and on. I truely hope we are as blessed in 2011!
Here are just a few pics from throughout the year to remember 2010 by!
