So this is what I look like at the end of 2009. Twenty seven years old, three kids, and married to my Awesome Marine Hubby!
I have SOME New year's Resolutions... I went back to my last years and I don't think I accomplished them all, but I would give myself a 90%.
2010's Resolutions and Goals:
1. To get my Body back into shape. Yowzers! After three little bobbins (kiddo's) it is just not the body I had at 20... and I sure do want it to be. I have to PUSH myself to work out every day, but I will do it. Also I am going on my 1200 calorie diet. You eat every 2.5 hours and only have 200 cal's (sounds hard, but that is how I lost my weight before Dan got home from Afghanistan in 2008). Plus it resets your metabolism and as soon as it does that you can up your cal intake! WOO HOO!
2. I want to get all of my co-reqs and pre-reqs done by December 2010. I believe I can totally do it! There may be a slight possibility that it may take me 8 weeks over December 2010, but I am sure going to aim for December! I want them done as soon as possible too because once they are done I have to apply to nursing school THEN the wait to get into a Nursing school can take up to TWO years. AHHHHH! Hopefully I can find one that takes less.
3. Really work on my skin (face area). This last pregnancy really did some major damage to my skin. AHHHH! I actually have an age spot... DID YOU HEAR ME? AN AGE SPOT! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! So anyways... I want to find an awesome skin care line and get my face looking the age it is. I think after so many years in AZ and not taking care of my skin the way I should have TOOK ITS TOLL as well.
4. Support my husband on finishing his BS by December of 2010 (even though he is in the same boat as me where it may take 8 weeks into 2011). He has a 4.0 through Park University and he is doing awesome. I know he needs my support in it though and I plan to push him HARD!
5. My Pre-School goal with Britton is going to be to get him to count to 100 and memorize what numbers 1-30 look like (he has a hard time paying attention 'hyper active' and so I know this will be a HUGE accomplishment). I also want him to be able to recognize letters A - Z (upper and lower case), I am not sure I am going to worry so much about the sounds with him, but I will sure try to get him to memorize a few. ALSO I will be teaching him how to tell time on the clock this summer. Just like Benson I want Britton to be able to tell time before he goes to school. It has come in SO HANDY for Benson and I am so glad I did it.
Well those are my resolutions and goals. WISH ME LUCK! We have such a HUGE year ahead of us. Between Dan being deployed until June or July, taking a trip to AZ to see my family, taking the boys to Utah to spend a few weeks with Steve, going to Japan to stay with Taylor and Ava for a week in July, Dan and I going to Key West for a WELL DESERVED vacation together (we have not had one just the two of us since November of 2007), and then Dan heading back to Japan in November to pick up the twins and bring them back to the states for five weeks.... WOW! It is going to be a GO GO GO year. Add all that on top of school, church, the kids sports. I am sure the time will fly. We are going to have to budget, and save to make sure we can do it all!
I am really looking forward to 2010!
