We FINALLY had our last court date on Septemeber 24th (last Thursday) regarding our visitation with the twins. Nothing really changed. We will have Taylor and Ava for five weeks in 2010 and five weeks in 2011. Of course Dan is heartbroken but I am trying to see the glass half full for him and to just remember it is only for the next two years.
The judge did however say that Dan will have two set nights where he can call and talk to the twins for half an hour and Cheryl HAS TO supervise it. Which is GOOD! The judge also pretty much said that Dan and Cheryl are no longer able to talk UNLESS it has to do with visitation. So hopefully that will relieve stress for both parties!
What I got from the judges "other" comments as he addressed both Cheryl and Dan is that he saw Cheryl as a fit mother but a mean and cold ex wife and that he hoped for the children's sake she would "get over it."
So we'll see what the future holds....

I hope the future looks better for you. I can't imagine to know what you guys are going through. I'm sorry that you have to deal with all the crap but I know the kids are so worth it!!! They are such little cuties and I'm sure it will all work out.
I am praying for you guys, and that Cheryl gets over her "hate" and anger. Don't know the whole story of why she is so angry, but for the children's sake she needs to be a bigger person. Stay strong and know that God has his plan for the twins and you guys. Love you Lace!
Oh man, I'm sorry, that would be really hard. That is funny that the judge told her she was mean though, sounds like somebody needed to. Good luck with everything!
I'm glad that he has set days that he can talk to the twins. Although the time is hard, at least when he gets home next year he will have all of his babies with him. That has to be the best welcome home gift ever!!
I can't believe that Benson is 6 years old!!! That is crazy!! It's closer and closer for me to come and I can't wait!!! LOVE YOU ALL SOOOO MUCH!
