Court an Custody Update
We went to court on Friday. It was the hearing to see if Cheryl, Dan's ex wife, would be able to move to Japan. The court decided that since it is in the best interest of her career they would let her go. We were amazed by the outcome, but still know there is a purpose that we may not fully understand. We can appeal the decision, but before we do that Dan is going to see if he can get orders to Japan as well! If that happens we should be moving there with in the next 6 months. Also if we go there instead of appealing the decision we will go right to the custody hearing of Taylor and Ava (Dan's twins). For us it will be a win win situation if we get to go to Japan because no matter what Dan will still get so see them every month PLUS holidays. So we are still on this journey.... PLEASE STILL KEEP US IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!

I am so sorry about all of this. A father should not have to fight for the right to see his children. You have a great man in your life, and God will come through no matter what. Love ya and keeping you in my prayers!
Oh my Lacy...I feel so bad for you guys! I will be praying for you all though these hard times. It really says what kind of dad he is and what an incredible person you are to support him. I know it's very hard for a dad to get custody of his children, but I want you to know there is hope. My husband and I fought for custody of his daughters for a year and ended up with full custody. It was a long horrible battle, but the girls have a chance at a good life now. Let me know if you want to talk and keep me updated.
I love your blog. And I think I have your CD!
Love you all,
Mom
