THE START OF THE END FOR AZ

When you get 14 cousins together it is not going to be a great picture of everyone....

We have already started saying the "Goodbye" process to our Arizona lives, and the lives we have known since the boys were born, to the life we will soon have in North Carolina.

The BIGGEST thing the boys will miss is their AMAZING cousins here in AZ. All of the Pearce side lives here and the connection they all share to each other is so strong. Britton's best friend is his cousin Breck (they are 7 months apart) and Benson's best friend is a different cousin every week. Right now he is pretty focused on his 8 year old cousin Jace who is extremely sweet to Benson.

My BIGGEST thing will also be family: My Sister, Brothers, Mom and I cannot leave out my friend Jessi B. These are the people I have relied on for everything and who have stregnthened me, taken care of me, believed in me and have loved me through everything. It wlll be hard to be away from them, to not go to Sunday dinners at Mom's, to not have Mine and Jessi's weekly get togethers, to not have Shiloh there to fix my car whenever it breaks down, to not have my sister 5 minutes away to call when I just need to be near someone and need justification that I am not going out of my mind.

Now DON'T get me wrong..... I cannot wait to be with my husband and start the new life we will be able to FINALLY share together and with our children. The boys cannot wait either. Benson constantly makes the comment, "When can we go live with Daddy?" or "When is Daddy coming home from Afghanistan and stop being a Wolverine?" (Wolverine = Marine who is away from home in Benson and Britton's language). The bond that the boys already have with Dan (who they have come to know as their Daddy) is something I am so grateful for.

Dan gets home in 2 weeks and 5 days.... it has flown! THANK GOODNESS! The official move will not happen until October 20th, but until then we will be here and there and everywhere! THANK YOU to everyone for the love, prayers, support and love while Dan has been away and the ones we continue to receive as we set out on our new adventure.

I decided I don't like this leaving idea. I just read the title of your blog and started to cry...I'm such a baby...and then I read it...You guys can't leave! Okay, I know that isn't reality and I know it's what's best for your family but seriously?? North Carolina?? Maybe I should just pack my bags! I LOVE YOU!

What a cute bunch of kids. I'm so happy for you to be able to be with your husband soon. You are so strong to be away from him for so long. Best of luck with the move!

How funny that you saw our blog today because I was looking at yours last night! I am so excited for you to have your husband back, how nice will that be? I hate it when Jared is gone and it's usually only for a couple of days(I'm a whimp that way). You are a trooper. Your boys are so cute! Keep in touch.
